There is one spot left for this workshop

This is a fundraising workshop for Chihuahua Rescue NZ. $100 from your ticket will be donated to them. Casey who runs the rescue will be there to talk about the charity and let you know about the amazing things that they do. We were lucky enough to get our dog, Bella, from Chihuahua Rescue and am so excited to be able to give back to this amazing charity through this workshop.

Katie invites you into her pottery studio to learn how to hand build your very own dog (or cat) bowl out of clay, she will show you different techniques on how you can customise and decorate your bowl, you can add your pets name or decorate it with symbols. Your bowl will be glazed with a colour of your choice and fired twice in the kiln, it will be ready to collect in July.

The biggest your bowl can be is 20cm diameter, please measure your pets bowl at home to see if this workshop will be suitable for you.

Once you have booked your spot, the money will be donated to the rescue and you will not be able to get a refund If you can no longer attend, please consider gifting your spot to a friend if this happens.

This workshop is designed for beginners and is set in a relaxed studio environment. Katie loves to encourage creativity and no two pieces made in her class are the same.
All of Katie's workshops are hand building classes, which means they are not on the pottery wheel. This means that you are able to make pottery of a higher standard without having to practice for weeks on the wheel first.

This workshop is suitable for ages 12+

When? Saturday May 25th, 10am-12.30pm

Where? Katie's pottery studio, located inside the Kaiapoi Mill, 35 Ranfurly Street, Kaiapoi.
What to bring? An apron if you have one.

To find out more about Chihuahua Rescue you can visit their website https://nzchihuahuarescue.co.nz/

Please note that because spaces are limited once you have booked there are no refunds, unless we can find someone else to take your spot. please consider gifting your spot to a friend if you can no longer make it.
You will get an email closer to the date with more information.
Sometimes pottery cracks in the kiln, this rarely happens but unfortunately it is a part of making pottery, if this happens we are not able to refund you. The best part of the workshop is the workshop itself and learning a new skill.
