Candle making workshop - January 24th

Katie invites you into her studio to learn how to make your very own candles. During this workshop Katie will take you through the process of candle making, you will learn step by step how to make candles from your own home as well as creating three custom candles during the workshop.

Each person will get to choose 3x handmade pottery candle vessels (made by Katie of course) to make your candles in, each vessel holds 250ml of wax. You will get to choose your own custom aroma profiles for each candle.

There is an option to refill old candle containers from your home during the workshop. Katie will email you more information about this once you have booked your spot. Please note that there will be an extra cost for this.

What wax will we be using?

100% natural soy wax (non GMO)

What fragrances will you have available?

Katie has a range of fragrances from fruity to floral as well as vanilla and more earthy scents. Fragrances get changed up depending on what Katie likes the look of at the time, if you would like to know the exact ones Katie has please send her an email hello.pottery.place@gmail.com

What wicks will we be using?

Cotton wicks

Please note that candles need to cure overnight, so you will have to come back to the studio to collect your candles.

This workshop is suitable for ages 12+

When? Friday, January 24th, 6pm-8pm

Where? Katie's pottery studio, located inside the Kaiapoi Mill, 35 Ranfurly Street, Kaiapoi.

What to bring? An apron if you have one.
