Katie invites you into her studio to learn how to make a tiny pottery house with windows and a chimney to sit over a tealight candle or incense cone. Your house will be glazed with a glossy coat of clear glaze and fired twice in the kiln. A piece of art you get to keep forever!
Each person will design and build one tiny house and a tray for their house during this workshop.
If you would like to glaze your pieces with colourful underglazes you can book in for a glazing session on April 23rd for an extra $20. This doesn't need to be decided on until the day of the workshop. If you choose not to, your house will still get a coat of clear glossy glaze and be the colour of the clay, which is brown with a fine speckle running through it.
This workshop is designed for beginners and is set in a relaxed studio environment. Katie loves to encourage creativity and no two pieces made in her class are the same.
This workshop is suitable for ages 12+
