Couldn't load pickup availability
Katie invites you into her studio to make a set of two candle holders out of clay. You will learn 3 different handbuilding techniques and then you can get to work creating and sculpting two fun candle holders. These can be to hold a tealight candle or a tapered candle, the choice is yours.
Katie will fire and glaze your pieces in her kiln, to be picked up at a later date (usually at least 4 weeks after the workshop).
This workshop is designed for beginners and is set in a relaxed studio environment. Katie loves to encourage creativity and no two pieces made in her class are the same.
All of Katie's classes are handbuilding classes, which means they are not on the pottery wheel. Techniques used in these classes mean that you are able to make pottery of a higher standard without the need for practicing on a wheel.
If you would like to glaze your pieces with colourful underglazes you can book an extra glazing session, Katie will talk to you about a date for this closer to the time.
This workshop is suitable for ages 12+
