Pottery painting workshop - Paint your own design onto a mug, December 9th

Join ceramic artist Katie Jenssen in her pottery studio and learn how to use ceramic glazes to paint a design onto a ceramic mug. These mugs will get a coat of clear glossy glaze and will be fired in the kiln for you to collect again on December 16th. 

This is a fun Christmas gift making workshop and is a great one to bring the kids along to. The grandparents in our family absolutely love their hand painted mugs decorated by their grandchildren.

The cost of this workshop is for the mug itself, the glazes and firing in the kiln (all inclusive). When you book in for a session please book for each person who will be coming and wants to paint a mug.

If you would like more than one mug, each extra mug is $45. There is a limit of 2 mugs maximum/ person/ session (there are only 10 extra mugs available to please email me if you would like an extra mug after you have booked your spot). hello.pottery.place@gmail.com

If you would like to paint more than two mugs please book in for multiple sessions. 

Mugs are a large size holding approx 450ml.

When? Saturday December 9th

Session times are 10am-11am, 11.30am-12.30pm, 1pm-2pm

Where? Katie's pottery studio, located inside the Kaiapoi Mill, 35 Ranfurly Street, Kaiapoi.

What to bring? An apron if you have one.

Please note that because spaces are limited once you have booked there are no refunds, please consider gifting your spot to a friend if you can no longer make it.

You will get an email closer to the date with more information.

Please be aware that your piece will need to be fired in the kiln to make it food safe and will be ready to be picked up on Saturday December 16th.
